Agnes Monica was born in Jakarta, July 1, 1986 from the
couple Ricky and Jenny Siswono Suprapto. Agnes had a brother named Steve
Muljoto. Since Agnes became the artist with the bustle that is so dense, the
brother continued to assist with a manager.
Agnes was educated in elementary schools elementary
Tarakanita Jakarta. Agnes attended various courses since he was still in
elementary school, like singing lessons, piano and English. After completing
elementary school, junior Agnes continued his studies at Pelita Harapan
Jakarta. Agnes is a student who has outstanding achievements in academics. This
often makes it received many scholarships. Graduated from junior Pelita
Harapan, Agnes graduated from schools that are a foundation with his first high
school, which is Pelita Harapan High School. Agnes is someone who cares about
education. Evidently, after graduating from high school Pelita Harapan, amid an
increasingly crowded busy Agnes still want a taste of college education by
taking the lamp of Law at the University Harapan (UPH).
Agnes decided to retire in his lectures at the FMU with a
3.67 GPA last. Despite the retreat, does not mean that Agnes did not want to
deal with the world of education again. Shortly thereafter, Agnes took the
Distance Education program at Oregon States University (USO) majoring in
Political Science.
Earlier in his career, known as the little artist Agnes. As
a singer, she has three albums, namely "Si Meong (1992), "Yess!"
(1995) and "Bala Bala" (1996). The second album "Yess!"
awarded "Best Children's Album" in 1999.
Agnes also take advantage of his fame as a singer by
profession doubles as a children's presenter. Call it
"Tralala-Trilili", "VAN (Video Children Anteve)" and
"Diva Romeo". The third event is a children's show hosted by Agnes.
Thanks to that, Agnes HOST awarded as Favorite Children at the event
"Panasonic Awards" for two consecutive years (1999-2000).
Soap opera "Lupus Millennia" starring Agnes Monica
in 1999 marked Agnes plunging into the world of acting. Agnes began releasing
his shadow as a singer when he was starring soap opera "Early
Marriage" (2000) with Syahrul Gunawan. Her role in the soap opera that
makes winning the Favorite Actress in "Panasonic Awards 2001" and
"Panasonic Awards 2002" as well as the popular actress award at the
"SCTV Awards 2002". Agnes also won several awards "Panasonic
Awards" and "SCTV Awards" as the fruit of his hard work acting
on the soap opera "Jutek girlfriends" with Roger Danuarta, "Virgin
Flower" and "beautiful" .
In 2005, Agnes starred in several soap operas titles like
"Ku Tlah Jatuh ", "Pink" and "Kawin Muda". She
also had acted in the serial Taiwan, "The Hospital" (with Jerry Yan)
and "Romance In The White House" (with Peter Ho).
A teenager, Agnes active releasing albums. Starting from
"And the Story Goes" (2003), "Whaddup A '..?" (2005), Nez
(2008), "Sacredly Agnezious" (2009) and "Agnes Is My Name"
(2011). On 21 November 2010, Agnes was honored as one of the host of
"American Music Awards 2010" held at the Nokia Theatre, Los Angeles,
USA. Agnes Monica at the event also had the opportunity to display his golden
voice to a duet with Christian Chavez.
September 2011, Agnes was invited Michael Bolton as a
partner in the duet song "Said I Loved You ... But I Lied". The song
was recorded in Bolton album titled "Gems: The Duets Album" and was
released across Asia.
