brother as well. In this paper, once again I invite you to return describe about our indonesian history. About how our ancestors were outstanding figure and never be an example to the world civilization. So the hope is that we are motivated to participate follow their achievements. Out of ignorance and backwardness of civilization as it is today. Or make every effort to remain confident and soon fix things - such as the destruction of morals and lack of knowledge - so that we too can achieve happiness and survival.

Well, to shorten the time, let us follow the following searches:

1. Hartharanus kingdom and King Heru Chakra

According to that developed in the community said, long ago in Java kingdom had ever adopts monotheos. Great empire is flanked by the Indian and Pacific Oceans, as well known as Hatharanus was ruled by a king of the great fair and thoughtful with his King Heru Chakra. While the language used when it is the Word Ingsun finally called by the acronym Sun-Da.

Under the wisdom and firmness prabu Heru Chakras, be a beacon Java archipelago. Therefore, like a language that has the character as a means to communicate, both orally and in writing, so until now Sundanese script and still remain stable in the middle of the archipelago, especially in western Java.

Table: Sundanese script (Kaganga)

Heru King Chakra is also known as a man who spread knowledge relationship nerves associated with each segment of the human nerves. From the start of the tail bone to the skull. This knowledge is better known as the Dragon Bracelet (bracelets power). That said, the dynasty of Tibet Shambala is also studying science through cultural exchange at the height of Srivijaya, and then science is known as the Kala Chakra.

Time passed unnoticed and tagged with the entry of Hinduism and Buddhism. Studies Chakra Heru began to evolve out of the island of Java, as well as Islam entered and rapidly growing across the nation. Disagreement about the lives of this one, as well as endless. In the hands of Sunda believe that Heru Chakras life and habitation in Bantar Kawung Cianjur of West Java. While others believe he had been living in ancient times.

Apart from the clash of ideas developed in the community, in zamanya, no one can deny, how in Java never been a high civilization of which can be proved by the language persatuanya, the Sundanese. Which as of this writing is made still highly conserved in the society, especially in the western part of Java.

2. Legend Silat and Prince Forgiving

For teachers elderly martial arts, Forgiving Lord's name is not an unfamiliar name. But at the present time may be only a few colleges that still introduces ssaja legendary figure of the Prince-Forgiving.

It is said that the martial arts are well known long before Hinduism and Buddhism entered the archipelago. Where proved that in this archipelago (say Java), already have a very high civilization. Many of the world's oldest human remains found in the islands of Java, such as the beginning of Pithecantrphus eretus to Mojokerto soloensis.

Java, is the capital of the kingdom Hartharanus area. Forgiving is a prince among relatives prabu named Heru Chakra alive. Until now, with the knowledge held by Prince Forgiving is the science of energy pengharkatan based on the relationship of uric terms associated with each segment of human bones. In particular vertebrae of the tail bone began to skull. Science is known as Dragon Bracelet (Bracelet power). It is said that Shambala dynasty of Tibet studying with the cultural exchange at the height of Srivijaya. Which became known as the science of Kala Chakra ..

He explained that the scientific Dragon Bracelet (bracelets power) generating (harkatan / herkaton) energy through rin g-ring from every segment of human bones. Where each vertebrae in each ring is connected to the nerves related to vital human organs pepul. In the sense that if this energy is congested, then there is a specific part of the body that are not teraliri by energy that is felt as pain in the organ that feels uncomfortable.

The entry of Hinduism and Buddhism to Java, causing science from Prince-Forgiving, the advanced even circulated out Java. However lafads "Forgiving" is very difficult to pronounce for people outside Java. So the worship of Lord Forgiving terhadapa just sounds like gumanan / lafads which reads "Houm Houm Houm". Similarly, after Islam entered the archipelago cult Forgiving Prince referred to as "representative Waliullah One". Of the many science lessons taught by the Lord Mayor said many Forgiving Waliullah vice coarse u "

So it is clear that "the legend of Prince Forgiving" keep alive starting from Pre Hindu-Buddha era to the present. Forgiving is a prominent figure of the Prince who did not go on record and his name alive in the community, then he became a legend. However, for those who study the science of wisdom will see the title "Prince of Forgiving Waliullah representative unity" in certain spells.

In tatar Sunda (Parahiangan), it is believed that Prince Forgiving lived in Bantar Kawung Cianjur in West Java. Meanwhile, in Central Java Prince Forgiving believed to have lived in the kingdom Hartharanus. And honored his name by the Guardian as "the representative Waliullah One" which means that berkaromah Representative based in the saints.

3. Tentative conclusion

With a view the explanation above, it can be concluded while. First, at p Ulau Java before there was a large empire under the name Hartharanus. Second, if the state Hartharanus can be read from the back of the archipelago. Third, the spelling Westerners - particularly Greece: Plato - said Hartharnus into Atlantis. Believed by them as the lost continent and the continent that have very high civilization. Fourth, that there is a language in Java language entity called Sun-Da (language Ingsun Word). Fifth, the science of energy associated with the energy radiating / spread of any particular segment of the human spinal vertebra. Flowing through the veins toward the condition of vital organs of the body organs. This science was spread everywhere even to tibet. Sixth, many versions of the legend prabu Heru Chakras and Forgiving Prince circulating in the community.

This study is still tentative and need to be explored in order to download the actual historical emukan. But most could not give an idea and support, that this archipelago is indeed first ever in the age and highly advanced civilizations, as well as a world leader. Allaah `nature.

Sisingaan, the traditional dance from Subang-West Java

One of the tourism attraction from West Java that I really love is Sisingaan. Sisingaan or "fake lion" is the unique traditional performance from Subang, West Java (about 75km from Bandung, the capital city of West Java to the north).

This performance used to be a story, a symbolization of the Indonesian people power when Dutch invasion in 1940's. It's a dance with traditional music, eight people lifting two fake lions (dolls) with young boys on top of them. The fake lions are the symbol of invaders and eight people who lifting the lions are the symbol of people of Indonesia. The lions are the Royal Coat of Arms of England, young boys riding fake lions are the symbol of England which came to Indonesia using their Dutch relationship.

And there was a military agreement in Kalijati, Subang. An agreement between Dutch and Japan in 1942 that led Indonesia to be Japan's governance. Perhaps this occasion had inspired people of Indonesia at that time to create a unique performance for historical symbolization.

These days, people of Subang have their own meaning for Sisingaan:
1. They believe that they have a heart of art.
2. A theatrical performance.
3. A commercial opportunity.
4. Universal meaning, many countries have pick a lion as their symbol.
5. Spiritual meaning.

A boy in Islam should have circumcision, therefore in order to cheer up that boy, their parent held a Sisingaan as a performance. Usually, it will performed several days after the boy go circumcision (so the boy is fit already and can enjoy the show). The boy will ride the fake lion and four strong people will dancing and lift him up. It's an energetic performance and I have a plan to hold this event when my boy got circumcision next several years :).

Want to see now...?
Come to Subang, specially when Subang hold an event to celebrate their anniversary (April 12). From Jakarta you can use Cipularang highway (Bandung direction), exit at Sadang Gate than continue driving to Subang. From Bandung you can drive to the north via Lembang and Tangkuban Perahu area.

Culture & Religion of Indonesia

Religion of IndonesiaCulture & Religion of Indonesia - The present day culture of Indonesia is an outcome of the interplay of age-old- traditions from the time of early migrants and the Western thought brought by Portuguese traders and Dutch colonists. The basic principles, which guide life include the concepts of mutual assistance or "gotong royong" and consultations or "musyawarah" to arrive at a consensus or "mufakat". Derived from rural life, this system is still very much in use in community life throughout the country. Though the legal system is based on the Old Dutch penal code, social life as well as the rites of passage is founded on customary or "adat" law, which differs from area to area. ''Adat'' law has been instrumental in maintaining gender equality in Indonesia.

Indonesian art forms are greatly influenced by religion. The famous dance dramas of Java and Bali are derived from Hindu mythology and often feature fragments from the Hindu epics such as Ramayana and Mahabharata.

Culture of IndonesiaThe crafts of Indonesia vary in both medium and art form. As a whole the people are artistic by nature and express themselves on canvas, wood, metals, clay and stone. The batik process of waxing and dyeing originated in Java centuries ago and classic designs have been modified with modern trends in both pattern and technology. There are several centres of Batik in Java, the major ones being Yogyakarta, Surakarta, Pekalongan and Cirebon.

Indonesia is rich in handicrafts. Various forms of handicrafts practiced are: woodcarvings for ornamentation and furniture, silverwork and engraving from Yogyakarta and Sumatra; filgree from South Sulawesi and Bali with different styles of clay, sandstone and wood sculptures. These are but a few of the handicrafts found in Indonesia.

Religion in Indonesia: The majority (about 88%) of the population follows Islam. In fact Indonesia is the nation with largest Muslim population. However, freedom of religion is provided by the Indonesian Constitution, which is defined in the First Principle of the State Philosophy' "Pancasila", which upholds a "Belief in One Supreme God". Others religions followed in Indonesia are Christianity, Hinduism and Buddhism.

Solo - Central Java

This centre of Javanese culture has old colonial charm, the best of Southeast Asian warmth and the wide streets and well-planned squares of a small European town. Crumbly old-Dutch buildings and the two keratons of Kasunan and Mangkunegaran dominate the old town, surrounded by quaint streets lined with small houses with proudly manicured gardens.
Why, such a lovely name for such a close-knit and affable town. Solo, previously known as 'Surakarta' was indeed, living by its namesake, until recently. A result, 99.9% of the population of Solo, a naturally halus or well-mannered people, are not only extremely friendly to visitors but also free of the 'hello mister' attitude that comes with big tourist traps. People in Solo love a visitor.

This is a town made for the open-air. Sit in a becak or hop on the back of an ojek or motorbike taxi, stop for nasi liwet at a small side-street or sing your heart out at one of the obscure karaoke shacks and bars, open until dawn. Though many places are open all night, Solo affectionately goes by the old moniker 'So-slow,' precisely what gives it such lovable appeal.

Triwindu Antiques Market

Nestled in a labyrinthian market selling ball-bearings and car parts, the gems at Triwindu antiques market, appear even more dramatic and blissfully cheap compared to anywhere in Bali or Jakarta. On the fringes, next to a small stall selling greasy knobs and bolts, sunlight streams through Morrocan ceiling lamps saturated with color. There are venetian mirrors and transistor radios. A stall sells reproduction antique, hefty stone Buddha heads and brushed brass ganeshas of all sizes, next to a small case containing three, silk 1930s clutch-purses with delicate crystal embellishment (except that now there are two).

There are hip 1960s cocktail sets, straight from the pages of interior design magazines and about a tenth of the price of the same set in NYC or London. There are silver peacock-shaped door handles in painted wrought iron, gold vintage brooches and limestone elephants.
Because most of the goods from Triwindu are superior-quality, reproduction antiques and the rest genuine bric-a-brac from the last 60 years, prices are low. Sellers from all over come to Triwindu to sell their handiwork. It is worth a weekend trip to Solo just to furnish ones house with goods from Triwindu, or get a year's worth of gift-buying over in one morning. The sellers never harass and are open to bargaining.

Pasar Klewer

According to the tourism board, Pasar Klewer is the biggest batik and textile market in Indonesia. This may not be wholly true but it could possible be the friendliest. Ask to see a sarong and a podgy old lady will roll out the whole bunch and happily put them back when one walks away. Prices here are low. Expect to pay Rp 30.000 for a printed soft-cotton sarong or Rp 50.000 for a silk ready-made top.

Pasar Klewer (Klewer market)

Keraton Kasunanan

Javanese culture, dance, and music permeate the lives of the timeless occupants of the palace, from the guards to the royal orchestra. there are few things to see here, save for a few random artefacts and a large canoe. The palace is far more haphazard than the smaller mangkunegaran. It's unconventional charm, however, calls for a romantic stroll with the sand in one's toes. Gamelan practice is from 9am - 2pm daily.

Keraton Kasunanan

Istana Mangkunegaran

Mangkunegaran is perhaps the more cosmopolitan of the two Karatons of Surakarta. Mangkunegaran shares close ties with political powers of the past few decades.

Istana Mangkunegaran

Around the time of the Chinese rebellion against the Dutch, Raden Mas Said, the first Mangkunegaran Sultan, born in 1725, persuaded the powers that be to stop the war by signing the Salatiga treaty, during which time he became a sultan. He was like his successors to date, entitled to have his own city square, establish a women's centre, sit upon the throne and raise a pair of sacred banyan trees.

Though modelled on a typical keraton with fortress walls and a ceiling with a fire motif (each color represents a positive attribute and brings peace to the palace) Mangkunegaran went through major architectural changes during the colonial period and exhibits European decorative features typical of the period.
